 Un federalismo per l’Italia, un federalismo per l’Europa unita: il pensiero di Carlo Cattaneo

Abstract [It]: L'articolo analizza le principali caratteristiche del pensiero federalista di Carlo Cattaneo nelle diverse fasi della sua vita. La lettura di quello che è stato uno dei maggiori pensatori dell’Ottocento risulta interessante, non solo per capire al meglio le ideologie sulle quali si sono confrontati i Padri dell’Unità d’Italia, ma anche per cogliere importanti spunti di riflessione su temi di grande attualità nel dibattito politico, sia nazionale che europeo.

 

Abstract [En]: The article analyzes the main characteristics of Carlo Cattaneo's federalist thought in the different phases of his life. The reading of what was one of the greatest thinkers of the nineteenth century is interesting, not only to better understand the ideologies on which the Fathers of the Unity of Italy confronted each other, but also to draw important food for thought on issues of great topicality in the political debate, both national and European.
