 “Le città (metropolitane) invisibili”: perché non possono coesistere due modelli diversi di area vasta? A proposito della sentenza n. 240 del 2021 della Corte costituzionale

Abstract [It]: Il contributo, muovendo dalla sentenza n. 240 del 2021 della Corte costituzionale, analizza le differenze tra i due modelli di enti di governo dell’area vasta come definiti nella legge n. 56 del 2014. In particolare, si sofferma sul rapporto tra la diversa tipologia di funzioni dei due enti e le modalità di scelta dei rispettivi organi, alla luce delle esigenze di governo metropolitano.

 

Title: "Invisible (metropolitan) cities": why can't two different models of wide area coexist? Regarding judgement no. 240 of 2021 of the Constitutional Court

Abstract [En]: The contribution, starting from sentence no. 240 of 2021 of the Constitutional Court, analyzes the differences between the two models of government bodies of the large area as defined in law no. 56 of 2014. In particular, it focuses on the relationship between the different types of functions of the two bodies and the methods of choosing the respective bodies, in light of the needs of metropolitan government.
