This research examines transitions, institutional arrangements, and political dynamics in Latvia leading up to the European Parliament elections (X Legislature: 2024-2029). It is divided into three parts: the first reconstructs the domestic political-institutional framework (§1); the second considers Latvian seats and electoral system for the EU Parliament (§2); the third reviews the 2019 election results (§3) and the current party structures and election campaign (§4). In the run-up to the vote, the subject of the study is topical and takes on profiles of historical, institutional and political interest in narrow sense… (segue)
